UK Border Agency takes huge Liverpool office
The UK Border Agency is planning to place its two thousand Liverpool staff members under the same roof after securing around 218,000 sq ft of new shared office space in the commercial district of the city.
At the moment the staff is spread across six different buildings until they move into the Old Hall Street Capital building.
Director of operations for the UK North West Border Agency, Eddy Montgomery, said that by moving to a newer headquarters taxpayers will save about ten million pounds each year.
The office in Liverpool will be responsible for asylum claims, immigration law, ID cards for foreign nationals, and manage the individual causes of foreigners who are seeking citizenship in
