Notebooks Are A Top Choice For Playing Games On The Go

The last 12 months has seen a lot of attention thrown towards the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii however a lot of interest has been seen in PC games. It’s obvious the Personal Computer will remain a mainstream means to gaming. Despite the efforts of some, namely Alienware, gaming computers are usually thought of as being bulky, beastly, loud, overpriced and they are always stuck in a small, isolated room.

Laptop computers now account for up to 50 percent of all PC’s sold which has been driven by consumers. Even though unnecessary there is something about being able to move a computer from place to place and being wire free that we all find is a must have part of our ifestyle.
The only complaint for gamers was that the vast majority laptops were not up to the task for playing games. Any notebook marketed for playing games on was also bulky, beastly, loud and just overpriced. In the last year that has changed. First the Intel Core Duo processors ensured that the mobile processors caught up with their desktop equivalents. Intel have done a super job marketing centrino and being the market leader but AMD has pushed them enough to excel in the notebook sector. Nvidia has also pushed the limit on performance with their line of performance GPU’s. The future of gaming laptops seems good. Intel release the quad core processor in 2008. The Nvidia Geforce 9 series is also set for its entrance in the market.
